In the permanent makeup and micropigmentation industry, the development and quality of professional practice largely depend on the support of a strong professional community. Permanentā grima (mikropigmentācijas) un tetovēšanas speciālistu asociācija (PTASOC) unites specialists from Latvia and Europe, facilitating the exchange of experience, professional development, and the protection of the interests of those working in micropigmentation and pigment removal.
PTASOC makes a significant contribution to the development of the Micropigmentation Specialist profession by participating in the creation of professional standards,

The organization actively represents specialists’ interests in governmental institutions, including in the context of reviewing amendments to the MK631 regulations, which govern activities in micropigmentation and pigment removal.
